What is the Comlets System?

Comlets Message System [CMS] uses intelligent message capsules called Comlets to distribute encrypted presentations of digital information over a private channel. Ideal for sending confidential or sensitive information, CMS can contain full multi-media presentations as well as simple text or sound files. You can determine how many times a message can be viewed and how long it remains available. You can password-protect particular messages, require recipients to acknowledge confidentiality before viewing, and maintain a complete audit trail for message review and reporting.
There are three primary parts of the system:
The Viewer is the unique inbox and display application that receives, decodes and displays Comlet messages.
- Each viewer is created specifically for your account, and every user who installs your viewer on his/her computer or portable drive becomes a subscriber to your CMS channel.
- All content remains within the viewer and viewer channel. The Comlet viewer lets your audience see and hear your message, just like you created it, in the same order, whether or not they have the applications software used to create the message.
- These subscribers can reply to you through the viewer, but they cannot forward or modify any content you distribute to them, as none of the content you send is ever written to disk without your permission.
The Composer is an extension to the viewer that offers the ability to create multimedia messages.
- Add images, video, text, and sound to make the message or presentation you want.
- Set the messages to expire, limit the number of times it can be viewed, and schedule a package of messages to be delivered over a period of time.
- The entire message composition - data, presentation, security - is bound into a Comlet message format, which is certified and encrypted before being delivered to viewers.
The Communication Center (or COM Center for short) serves as the hub of system Communication and the "control center" where all CMS administrative functions are performed. COM Center provides:
- Visibility into all messaging activity over time, allowing Agents to focus on Subscribers who need or deserve attention.
- Management of all information flow, including encryption & decryption of messages.
- Total, flexible administrative control over system roles and permissions.
- The ability to organize subscribers into "groups," allowing specific messages to be easily targeted to subscribers with similar interests or responsibilities.
